Day 1 - Monday

15 December 

• First stop at Eumundi – only a small delay due to traffic
• Quick stop in Gympie for lunch; seems like it should be nice but felt ramshackle 
• Stopped at Childers for a walk around
• Apartment is nice with good views of the ocean
• Ben fractured a tooth and had an emergency dentist visit tonight to fix it

Day 2 - Tuesday

16 December

• Went for a walk along the water
• Decorated the ginger bread train
• Afternoon swim in the pool
• Mon Repo Turtle Centre
• Saw 2 Loggerhead Turtles; 1 nested and 1 didn’t
• Boys got to help move the eggs above the water line
• I got a turtle toy I named seaweed, Brad

Day 3 - Wednesday

17 December

• Monsoon Aquatics Coral Farm tour
• Had black & ultraviolet lights to see the coral glow
• They had many different types of Nemo
• KFC for lunch 
• Amandine Lavender Farm
• Watched Finding Nemo

Day 4 - Thursday

18 December

• Nielson's Beach for morning swim
• Rick’s at Bagara for lunch; Slow but decent food
• Ice cream
• Afternoon Nap
• Afternoon swim in the pool
• Watched Futurama Christmas episodes; got worse as the went along

Day 5 - Friday

19 December

• Hinkler Hall of Aviation,
• Bundaberg Botanical Gardens
• Saw turtles and an eel
• Train ride through the gardens including seeing Santa on the Christmas train
• Red Rooster for Lunch
• Spent all our holiday money at the lolly shop
• Bakery for afternoon tea
• Afternoon swim at Nielson's Beach
• Watched Zootopia ★★★★
• Still a fun time. Brad

Day 6 - Saturday

20 December 

• Nielson's Beach for morning swim
• Bundaberg Barrel tasting; bought A LOT of ginger beer Bran
• we tasted all the juicy flavours and chompers looked how they made ginger beer Brad
• Picked sunflowers at Amandine Lavender Farm
• Afternoon swim in the pool
• Fish & chips at a seaside park with ice cream for dessert 
• Brad: Cookies & Cream ★★★★★
• Bran: Golden Crumb ★★★★★
• Ben: Peanut butter fudge ★★★★★
• Benita: Boysenberry ★★★★★

Day 7 - Sunday

21 December

• Macadamia farm
• Trip home
• Lunch stop at Tiaro
• The trip home was REALY fun Brad
